Health Insurance. Hillcrest Bank Florida offers a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan, sponsored by Conventry Health Care. This allows coverage both in and out of network. Premiums for coverage are deducted on a pre-tax basis.
Dental Coverage. Our dental coverage is provided through Delta Dental. This preferred plan allows you to see any dentist. They provide a full-range of benefits, including preventive care at no cost to you. Premiums are deducted on a pre-tax basis.
Vision. Vision Service Plan is available to you and your family at no cost to you. This is independent of your participation in our health or dental plan.
Life Insurance. Hillcrest Bank Florida pays the entire premium of life insurance policies for you totaling three times your base annual pay.
Dependent Life. Hillcrest Bank Florida pays the entire premium for a modest policy on your spouse and dependents.
Long Term Disability. After one year of employment you are eligible for coverage under our all-employer-paid long-term disability program.
401(k). (*see company match explained below) Employees are eligible to enter the Hillcrest Bank Florida 401(k) plan on the first day of the quarter following their date of hire. If age 20, you may defer up to 100% of your salary and invest in multiple funds.
Company Match and Loan Feature of 401(k). Hillcrest Bank Florida matches 50% of the first 6% that you put into the plan. You are immediately eligible for the match. A loan feature is available on 50% of your vested balance with a $1,000 required minimum loan.
Flexible Spending Account. You may defer a portion of your income on a pre-tax basis to pay for health care and dependent care expenses. Your own reimbursement may be made by check or direct deposit.
Training/Seminars/On-Line Learning. There are several opportunities for personal development through training programs in our organization. Visit www.bvsinc.com for on-line learning tailored to fit your position. External training and seminars are available per approved request.
Educational Assistance. Employees who receive a grade of "C" or better will receive 100% paid tuition and books for courses taken through the American Institute of Banking (AIB). In addition, if you receive an "A", you will receive a $50.00 bonus.
Vacation. Vacation accrual is based on the number of hours you work. Full time employees may earn 2 weeks of vacation following 1 year of service.
Sick Pay. Non-probationary employees have 6 days of paid sick time available to them every January 1 to use in that calendar year.
Personal Days. You have an opportunity to earn up to 3 personal days each calendar year. Personal days are awarded based on your attendance record the prior year.
Holiday Pay. There are 10 banking holidays in a calendar year. If a holiday falls on your normally scheduled workday you will receive up to 8 hours of pay for this day. You are eligible for this benefit following 30 days of employment.
Free Checking Account/Savings Account. As an employee of Hillcrest Bank Florida you will be provided two bank accounts in which you will not have to pay service fees. (Certain exceptions apply.) Ask our customer service specialists about Bounce Protection privilege available on our checking products.
Direct Deposit of Payroll. Your payroll will be directly deposited into an account of your choice.
Free Parking. All of our branches currently provide free parking.
Business Dress Code.All employees will wear business attire or you can expand your work wardrobe to include Hillcrest Bank Florida logo clothing.
Clothing Allowance. In helping to keep you looking professional, we offer a clothing allowance program. You may be reimbursed for work clothes purchases, and then submit "payment" back to the company through payroll deductions, interest free.
Gift and Bonus Program. All employees are eligible to participate in an annual discretionary gift and bonus program.
Employee Assistance Program. A free, confidential counseling resource for you and your family.
Employee Appreciation and Recognition. It is the culture of this organization to appreciate and recognize employees throughout their career for performance, attendance, and significant events in their lives.
Referral Programs. Employees are eligible to receive compensation for making referrals to our mortgage, investment services, and human resources departments.
Short Term Disability. This benefit would pay 60% of your salary for up to 12 weeks if you were totally disabled.
Supplemental Life. During our benefits open enrollment period you may be eligible to elect voluntary supplemental life to enhance the life insurance provided to you by the company.
Cancer Plan. This benefit is a special insurance program designed for critical illnesses and ailments.
